                FROM HOME TO MARKET


We started our business in our kitchen in Connecticut experimenting with just three spice blends to be used by us while cooking in 1997.  After giving our spice blends out to friends and family as gifts, we were encouraged to provide our blends to others.  We bought a tent, developed some signs and hit the craft circuit.  For almost 10 years we were part of the craft show circuit participating in shows in New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.  We also attended various trade shows including some from Johnson & Wales University on new products and food companies. We were also a part of the "Big E" in New England, after being invited by the  Connecticut Department of Economic Development. We represented Connecticut businesses for 5 consecutive years at this event. Along the way we developed another 100 spice blends, and our products were sold in 100 retail stores.  In 2009 we moved our business to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. After our relocation, we decided to focus primarily on the wholesale restaurant market in the lowcountry. Presently, we do business with over 30 restaurants in the lowcountry, supplying them with various spice blends.  Our company also provides private labeling and design, product development, and other marketing services.
