Spices in Stop & Shop on Martha's Vineyard

7th Heaven Spices are now in Stop & Shop on Martha's Vineyard Island, Edgertown, MA.  Stop & Shop requested our new wood spice display (see below) with 20 spice blends.  This is the first Stop & Shop store to carry our products and we look forward to entering other locations.  We hope to be selling soon through retails stores on both Block Island and Nantucket Island.

New Wood Floor Display is a Hit!

Our first wood floor display was installed in Geisslers Supermarket, East Windsor, CT., last week.  Geisslers will now carry 20, 7th Heaven Blends instead of 9. We have orders for 6 additional floor displays from our retail customers.  We are also in the Geisslers store locations in South Windsor, CT., Windsor, CT.,  and Granby, CT.

New Spices being Introduced.

Our new Blend, "Buffalo Wing Spice", is starting to work it's way into stores.  By the end of May it will be in the stores that retail our products in time for the start of the spring/summer season.  Although it is great on chicken, our customers tell us it is good on fish and other meats too!  "Black Space", our spice seasoning for blackening meats, was originally offered only to our club members, but we will be introducing it to all of our customers this spring and it will now be a part of our original blends.

Recipe Changes

We are improving our blends by adding spices that increase their flavor.  Our Italian blend now has Porcini mushrooms, one of the prized ingredients in Italian cooking.  It adds a woodsy, nut-like flavor to an already great blend.  Our Ocean Seafood Seafood Seasoning will soon have real lobster, shrimp, and fish flavor. This blend will also contain Pasilla Chilli Powder.

 The next production run of Chilean Sky will have Serrano chilli powder. The blend Far East Spice Delight, which is similar to a "5 Spice" but contains 11 ingredients instead of 5, will get an uplift with the elimination of Black Pepper and with the addition of Szechwan Pepper.  Szechwan Pepper has not been available in the United States until recently.

 Label Change

7th Heaven Spices will be changing our label design.  We have new labels that have been designed by t.wynne art & design from Florida.  One label for the International Line and one for the Original Blends.  This design group designs labels and packaging for Mott's, Welch Juices, Dole, Tropicana, Aunt Jemima, Quaker Oats and The Sports Authority.   We will be adding the UPC (code) and the nutritional information so that our products can be introduced to a broader market.  Here are our proposed new labels from t.wynne art & design:

New Distributors

After our new label change, which will include bar code and nutritional information, we will seek a distribution agreement with SWB New England (www.swbnewengland.com)  SWB distributes to Stop & Shop, The Big Y and Roche, just to name a few.  Our goal is 15,000 stores by late 2009, as we move south and then west with distribution and broker agreements.

Availability of Membership Blends

On September 1st, 2007 the 14 new blends offered only to our 7th Heaven Membership Club listed under "Membership Club" will be available to all of our customers.  Some of them will be offered at craft shows or trade shows before then, and all will be available to purchase through the internet.  Customers who have purchased these spices at craft shows can call our toll-free number to order them prior to October 1st.

New Spice Blend

We have created our version of the Montreal Steak Seasoning Blend.  It is only available by calling our toll-free line and providing a credit card.  It is packaged in a 12  1/2 oz half size chef container for $13.00 plus shipping and handling.
