We treasure your opinions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPICES ONLY AVAILABLE TO CLUB MEMBERS: From North West Africa AFRICAN PEPPER BLEND: This is a pepper blend from North West Africa. It contains malabar pepper, cubeb pepper, Melequeta pepper, Szechwan pepper, Red Chili, and African Bird pepper. It is anchored with Ginger,Garlic and other spices. African Bird Pepper (120,000 s.u.) is called that because birds transmit the seeds from one location to another in their mouth. It is the North African answer to Cayenne Pepper used primarily in the western hemisphere. This is a plethora of peppers. From Morocco & Tunsia HARISSA: Some of the incredients are...Cayenne Pepper, Cumin, Garlic, Caraway and coriander. Found on every kitchen table in Northern Africa, it used in stews, soups, and with lamb, beef or chicken recipes. Categorically and indicatively hot for that part of the African Continent. From Southern India SAMBHAR: This mixture, while not tasting like a heavy Indian "curry", is the southern India answer to Garam Masala which is used primarly in the nothern part of the country. The spice name "curry" was so named by the British to mean a general mixture of spices named after the Far East Continent. This is a pepper based blend containing Corriander, Fenugreek, Turmeric, Tamrind, Asofoetida and other spices. This spice blend is used to season lentil and vegetable stews. It is good in Indian recipes like Dosais, and Medhu Vada. From the French Mediterranean SPICE PARISIENNE: This is our version of the French Mediterranean spice known also as Epices Fines. It is sweet and peppery with Cloves, Ginger, White Pepper and ten other incredients. Use with chicken and pork dishes. A custom 7th Heaven Blend FLEUR DE SEL: Fleur De Sel is the "champaign" of all sea salts. It is a classic sea salt used by French chefs. This mixture is a blend of Fleur De Sel, Leeks, Shallots, Saffron, California Garlic and Tellicherry Pepper. Tellicherry Pepper is from the Malabar Family of peppers and is at the very top of gourmet peppers. This blend is the ultimate of "seasoned salts". Only 7th Heaven makes this blend. From Northern India GARAM MASALA: Our mixture contains Coriander, Cumin, Cinnamon, Cardamon, Fenugreek, aniseed and other spices. Good all purpose that can be used on fish and is also good with lamb, pork, poultry and potatos. From Yemen HAWAYIL: This spice is from Yemen. It is great in soups, and as a meat rub. Great on chicken or sprinkle on vegetables. It is a mixture of Black Pepper, Cumin, Cardamom, Turmeric, Coriander, and Crushed Caraway Seeds. From North Africa AFRICAN CURRY FISH POWDER: We developed this curry blend based on North African Curry recipes. It also contains Dill, Garlic, Mint, Lemon Grass and Ajowan. Great on any kind of seafood! Not really hot, just "warm". From India TANDORRI MASALA: Do you like Tandorri cooking but don't have the clay brick oven? Then this is the next best thing! It has that Tandorri taste with a touch of Mesquite and Hickory that will tingle your senses. From Indonesia NASI GORENG: This is a special mixture we developed for Indonesian fried rice dishes. It also good in curry dishes, in sauces and with vegetables. Some of the ingredients are Indian Chili Powder, Soy Sauce Powder, Ginger, Turmeric, Amchor (unripe Mango)and (real) 100% all natural Chablis Wine Powder. From Indonesia SEVEN SEAS: This mixture, from Indonesia, has Orange Peel, Chili Pepper, Fennel, and Cassia Bark as part of the ingredients. This is the so called "Indonisian Curry Powder". Great in Sambals, Stews, Casseroles and Kebabs. A custom 7th Heaven Blend EARTHS CREATION: This is an all vegetarian seasoning that has Vegetarian Chicken Flavor, Natural Roasted Mushroom, Sun Dried Tomato, Roasted Green Pepper, Toasted Onion, Carmalized Sweet Corn, Roasted Garlic and other spices like Cloves, Celery, Anise, and Ancho Chili. Great in soaps, sauces, and casseroles. Use this spice like a vegetarian salt. A custom 7th Heaven Blend BLACK SPACE: This is a blackening seasoning. Great for blackening your favorite meats. A custom 7th Heaven Blend SKY BEAU MONDE: If you like Spice Island's original Beau Monde you will like this even better. Used for salads, dips, roasts, stews and vegetables. The original mixture from Spice Island has only 4 ingredients. Our blend contains other spices such as Cinnamin, Cloves, Ginger, Lemon Grass, Garlic and Mace. |
